Farmina Vet Life Stru vite is a complete dietary food intended for dogs, indicated for the dissolution of struvite stones and the reduction of recurrences of struvite stones.

HOW FARMINA VET LIFE STRUVITE FOR DOGS WORKS

The added calcium sulfate generates and maintains an acidic pH by promoting dissolution and inhibiting the neoformation of struvite crystals; it also creates an unfavorable environment for bacterial growth. The low concentrations of protein, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in Farmina Vet Life Struvite help reduce crystal aggregation and precipitation.

Rice, dehydrated chicken meat, animal fat, potatoes, oats, dehydrated whole eggs, flaxseed, hydrolyzed animal protein, fish oil, potassium chloride, calcium sulfate dihydrate, calcium carbonate, vegetable oil, sodium chloride. Protein sources: dehydrated chicken meat, dehydrated whole eggs. Urine acidifying additives: calcium sulfate dihydrate (5g/kg).

TREATMENT MODALITIES OF FARMINA VET LIFE STRUVITE FOR DOGS.

Before use, and before extending the period of use, it is recommended to seek the advice of the veterinary doctor. The duration of dietary treatment for the dissolution of struvite stones is 5-12 weeks in the case of struvite stone dissolution and up to 6 months in the case of reductions in struvite stone recurrences. Daily amounts may vary with breed, environment, exercise, temperament, and level of disease severity. The recommended amounts in the table are for guidance only and require adjustment in order to achieve optimal body weight. The dose can be divided into 2 or more daily meals. It is recommended to always leave fresh water at will in order to hydrate the animal as much as possible.
