Natural Footprints HELP-TH1 for Cats

HELP-TH1 is a complementary cat food designed to support the immune system.

It contains mushrooms considered adaptogenic by the European Pharmacopoeia(Codyceps, Ganoderma Lucidum and Coriolus), as well as Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) from green tea traditionally used as a restorative by virtue of their polyphenol content.

HELP-TH1 is indicated in situations where it is especially necessary to stimulate the lymphocyte component of Thelper-1.

Preliminary results of in vitro tests conducted on behalf of Camon by University Laboratories have shown that HELP-TH1 is able to statistically significantly inhibit viral adsorption and replication against Feline Immunodeficiency Virus ( FIV ).

METHOD OF USE: Available in the handy 30 g syringe (1 cm of paste = 1gr).

In the literature, Cordyceps mushrooms, Ganoderma Lucidum have been shown to inhibit viral replication of several types of viruses, including influenza viruses, HIV, and herpesviruses

Mechanisms of action include inhibition of viral proteases, signal interference against reverse transcriptase, as well as activation of specific host cell populations and enhancement of expression of specific cytokines.

Cordyceps sinensis. Cordyceps sinensis was officially classified as a drug in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia in 1964. Worldwide consumption of the mushroom increased after China's SARS epidemic in 2003, and since then several studies have investigated its properties as an adaptogen, anticancer, hepato- and nephro-protective, anti-aging, and aphrodisiac.

Ganoderma lucidum. Widely used in traditional Chinese medicine and Japanese Kampo medicine, it contains more than 200 biologically active compounds,including β-glucans, organic germanium, triterpenoids and nucleosides. It is considered a powerful adaptogen on both physical and emotional levels.

Coriolus.Used as a remedy in Chinese pharmacopoeia as far back as the Ming dynasty, Coriolus has been extensively studied because of the immunological and potentially anticarcinogenic properties of some of its polysaccharopeptides (PSK and PSP). Some in vivo studies in humans have shown that extracts of the mushroom can restore the immune response to a physiological level when hypofunctioning due to compromised cells or invasive therapies.
