Qdiet Puppy Milk Milk for Puppies is enriched with:
- FREE NUCLEOTIDES
Nucleotides are essential nutrients in infants for the proper development of the puppy's immune system and gastrointestinal tract. In adulthood the dog will be able to synthesize them on its own, but in the newborn it is essential to provide especially free 5-monophosphate nucleotides, which are those in which canine milk is richest (Tonini et al, 2010).
- DOCOSAHEXAENOIC ACID DHA AND ARACHIDONIC ACID
In adulthood, dogs will be able to synthesize these nutrients, but during their infancy it is necessary to provide them through breast milk, as the ability to synthesize is not yet detectable in the puppy. Both are essential nutrients for the development of the central nervous system and consequently the puppy's cognitive and visual abilities. They play a role in the composition of the animal's skin and coat. They are both fatty acids found in canine milk, but absent in almost all commercially available breast milk replacers.
- MCT - MEDIUM-CHAIN TRIGLYCERIDES
These nutrients are particular fatty acids that are more easily absorbed and do not require bile salts for their digestion. The newborn has a still immature digestive enzyme kit: for this reason, canine milk contains these fatty acids because they are more easily assimilated by the newborn puppy.
COMPOSITION: Calcium caseinate, delactose whey, vegetable oil, coconut oil (source of MCT), sunflower oil, monocalcium phosphate, bovine colostrum (source of immunoglobulins), yeast products (of which free nucleotides 40%), minerals, guar powder, freeze-dried DHA, fructo-oligosaccharides (0.5%), Inulin, Arachidonic Acid.
