Yora
Yora are the revolutionary insect meal-based dog and cat foods. Yora 's goal is to raise awareness among Pet Owners of the problems associated with the production of traditional animal proteins (poultry, cattle...) and to highlight the potential and benefits of larvae-based dog and cat food.
Larvae are often richer in nutrients and protein than meat itself: they take up little space, pollute very little, reproduce quickly, and eat little. At the same time they provide all the essential nutrients for dogs and cats and are GOOD!
The insects used for Yora natural kibble are Hermetia Illucens, among the oldest and most nutritious animal protein sources in the world. Their digestibility is better than that of chicken and they are completely hypoallergenic in that they do not require growth hormones and antibiotics, which are often primary causes of adverse immune system reactions in dogs and cats.

Yora has made the battle to sustainability its banner. After thorough research, Yora experts and nutritionists, have pointed out that traditional cattle and poultry farms have a significant cost to our planet.
Fromland to water, from methane to antibiotics, from energy used for maintenance to waste, traditional livestock farms will no longer be sustainable in a few decades. At the same time, dog and cat need animal protein as carnivores.
The larvae chosen and raised by Yora are among the most nutritious protein sources on the planet. The insects from which the kibble is made are grown in the scraps of clean fruits and vegetables (overproduced, not sold in the market, or discarded because they are aesthetically unappealing). They grow very quickly; one teaspoon of their eggs produces 100 kg of insects within a few weeks.
Hermetia Illucens are raised on special, clean and efficient vertical farms and use a tiny fraction compared to the consumption of traditional cow, chicken and sheep farms.
Yora cares about the planet: even the bag in which the kibble is contained is 100% biodegradable
